ConocoPhillips supplies markets in the eastern United States with a reliable source of natural gas from production sources in western Canada, South Texas, Oklahoma and the Gulf of Mexico. Through a term supply arrangement, we also market Appalachian coal-seam gas to the Mid-Atlantic States.

The Chicago area continues to be a key growth market for ConocoPhillips. We are a major natural gas supplier to local distribution companies that sell gas to retail end-users. In addition, ConocoPhillips has more than 3 billion cubic feet of storage available to serve customers in the region. To help move Canadian gas into the Chicago market, we have secured 101,000 MMBtu/d of firm transportation through the Alliance Pipeline.
